BLOG HOP for International Card Day

BLOG HOP for World Card Making Day

  October 5th - 8th 11th 2013

Welcome to the Digistamps4Joy COUNTRY theme Blog Hop running from 5 –  8 11th October 2013 to celebrate World Card Making Day on the 5th of October.

You have arrived at Angela's blog in Oklahoma, United States! For my theme I based it off of the American West heritage, thinking of the native Indians, the Oklahoma Land Run, and the National Cowboy Hall of Fame Museum to name a few places here in the state of Oklahoma!

Entrance of National Cowboy Hall of Fame

The full hop order is listed on the main DS4J blog.

Here is the card I made for the Blog Hop.
The image was colored in with Copic Markers using colors E50 E53 & E57, and I created the horse shoes as well as the sentiment using my Silhouette Cameo, the scalloped frame was cut with the Cricut Machine, I punched a scalloped border on the gray pieces and used flowers that were the remnants from another projects border punching. :)

And here is the DS4J image (“Champagne”) you could win.

So wonderful to learn a little more about Oklahoma Angela and that pic is great. I just love the card that you made for our hop. You coloured Champagne so beautifully and the horse shoes are the perfect embellishment for a horse card.

Thank you so much Julie-Anne! Oklahoma has some beautiful places that I just discovered last year and I have lived here 30 years! But I am in my 40's now and really want to see the beauty of the outdoors and I had no idea that there are some beautiful places within an hour, right here in my own backyard. :)
